पब्लिक पुलिस स्टेशन क्यों?
पुलिस स्टेशन पहुँचने वाला नागरिक आपातकाल, अपराध, घरेलू हिंसा, साइबर धोखाधड़ी, लापता व्यक्ति, पुलिस शिकायत, कानूनी समस्या या किसी अन्य संवेदनशील स्थिति से जूझ रहा हो सकता है। अक्सर सबसे बड़ी कठिनाई यह न जानना होती है कि:

पब्लिक पुलिस स्टेशन का उद्देश्य सांविधिक पुलिस प्रणाली को प्रतिस्थापित करना नहीं है। AIHRA नहीं करेगा:
AIHRA की भूमिका नागरिकों को सही प्राधिकरण तक पहुँचाने, उनके अधिकार समझाने, उनकी यात्रा का दस्तावेज़ीकरण करने और वैध उपाय खोजने में मदद करना है।

AIHRA Global पब्लिक पुलिस स्टेशन / नागरिक सुरक्षा एवं न्याय सहायता केंद्रों के एक नेटवर्क की परिकल्पना करता है, जो नागरिकों और भारत की मौजूदा संवैधानिक, पुलिस, आपातकालीन, कानूनी-सहायता, पीड़ित-सहायता और जवाबदेही संस्थाओं के बीच एक भरोसेमंद सेतु बन सके। दीर्घकालिक उद्देश्य सार्वजनिक सुरक्षा एवं न्याय सेवाओं को बनाना है:
